BEHIND THE SCENES OF PAPINELLE AW18

There is always excitement around the office when it’s time to shoot a new collection. In early December, the team headed to a beautiful location in Sydney, Alexandria, to shoot  the upcoming Papinelle AW18 “LOFT” range. Booking the right venue is key for a great photoshoot and O.M.G this house was gorgeous!! A converted warehouse with modern interiors and spacious high ceilings and exposed brick walls, the home truely felt like a slice of New York in Sydney.

We kicked off the day with large coffees and good radio tunes. While the make-up artist was transforming our (gorgeous!) model into a slightly ruffled ‘bed head’ beauty, it was time to steam the clothes, set up and wake up! 

Our new range contains beautiful trans-seasonal items with lots of beautiful natural fabrics such as pure cotton and of-course plenty of silk. 

In true Papinelle fashion, we chose the most complicated shot first (our hero shot), with sunlight light beaming in through the large open windows. Chris, our resident photograph, as always did an amazing job and our New York inspired photo is a favourite from the day.

4pm-It was almost time to wrap up so we squeeze in as many images as possible, we roll up one of our printed wallpapers, and get through as many looks as we can, luckily our model was an absolute pro and nail each and everyone in no time.
