WINTER IN CALI – A SNEAK PEAK AT OUR AW17 SHOOT

Take a look behind the scenes of our Silence & Simplicity shoot, shot on location in California. 

Fresh of a 15 hour flight, an icy breeze instantly bring us into Winter. Leaving Sydney mid heat wave, we were less then prepared for how cold “sunny” California was. Jet lag in full swing, we’re straight on the road, on route to a Californian Ranch, the set for our AW17 lifestyle shoot.

This collection, rightly named Silence & Simplicity, has been designed with the beauty of nature in mind. We have drawn on the natural tones and shades of Winter landscapes, showing our florals in subtle shades of sage, musk and cream. 

Found on Air BnB of all places, this Wintery little gem couldn’t have complemented this collection any better, with light interiors with wooden antiques, blankets, furs and fire pits throughout.

The collection begins with our lighter florals and fabrics in soft blues & creams. The heat of January in Australia in mind, these PJs are made from natural cottons and viscose. Breathable fabrics for the best nights sleeps.

Our collection becomes more textured and cozy as the temperature drops. Cloud slippers & fluffy PJ sets. Cashmere jumpers & beanies. Soft socks & snoods. Curled by the fireplace in this Californian ranch we are starting to wish for Winter.

And to wrap things up, classic pink Papinelle PJs and a cashmere knit fireside, as the Californian sun goes down.
